Booking terms

These terms apply to private Crowned events, individual spots and Partner Venue events. By paying a deposit or purchasing a ticket, you agree to them.

Pricing

  • Photoshoots start at $250 per person.
  • Private group buyouts are for 20 to 35 people. Pricing for your group is confirmed in writing before you book.
  • Travel within the Northeast is included in your quote. Events outside the Northeast may carry an additional travel fee.

Deposit and payment

  • A 50% deposit reserves your date.
  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.

Cancellations

  • If you cancel 7 or more days before your event, we refund 50% of what you have paid.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable.
  • If we ever need to cancel, you receive a full refund or a new date of your choice.

Group size changes

You can add guests up to 7 days before the event, space permitting. Reducing your group size after booking does not reduce the total for a private buyout.

What's included

  • All headdress materials, and your crown to keep.
  • Connection circle, posing workshop, individual photo shoot and group portrait.
  • Three edited photos per person, delivered within three weeks.
  • Live DJ, champagne for guests 21 and over with a sparkling non-alcoholic option, fruit and chocolate.

Additional photos

Additional photo packages, starting at three images, are purchased directly from the photographer after the event.

Your space

For up to 35 guests, the host provides a main room of about 1,000 square feet, a separate photo area of about 300 square feet, a couple of tables and access to a power outlet. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

Partner Venues

  • Partner Venues are businesses with a public space, such as studios, salons, cafes and galleries.
  • Venues earn 15% of ticket sales, or 20% of all ticket sales when more than 25 tickets sell.
  • Venues agree to promote the event on their website, email list and social media.
  • Venue earnings are paid after the event. Full terms are confirmed in a written partner agreement.

Who can join

Crowned welcomes people of all genders.

Photos and consent

Participation in any part of the experience is always optional. We only share your photos publicly with your permission.
